1-2-3 steps in my beauty routine

Hello lovelies!

As I was washing my face this morning, I realized I never told you about my favorites products, which are part of my beauty routine. We all have our ways to prep ourselves in the morning (or before going to bed), so maybe you will learn about products you always wanted to try but it never happened. So let’s start!

In the morning

Step 1

The Pacifica Sea Foam is my very first step every morning as I wake up in the shower. I really love it’s gentle foam and subtil coconut scent.

If you don’t know the brand, Pacifica is always cruelty free and 100% vegan.

I first got to try this product last fall, when I had two sample sizes of this face wash in a gift bag at CurvyCon.

Exclusively sold at Target (and online), Pacifica is really a brand I look for whenever I stop in the USA. They keep on expending their range of products, now going from skincare, make up, hair, nail to suncare lotions.

You can find these products here.

Step 2

I love The Ordinary products. Another brand I fell for that has great values and they stand by it. You can read my previous blog post about them HERE.

I use The Buffet every morning as I walk out of the shower, on a dry face.

This formula combines a comprehensive array of studied technologies to target multiple signs of ageing at once.

So I will stay young forever! Mwahahahahaha…. You can find The Ordinary products here.

Step 3

I got this Murad Perfecting Lotion in my last FabFitFun spring box. I heard about Murad, but I never got to try their products before this one. It says on the website that this specific lotion minimizes pores, refine texture of the skin, soothes redness and irritation.

So far, I used it in the morning (and sometimes before bedtime) on my face and I like it. There’s no scent to this product, and the texture is so smooth.. I don’t really have a pore problem, or redness/irritation so I cannot say I saw an improvement, but I like it. It’s not sticky or oily, so I can apply my make up right after.

You can get Murad products online here.

In the evening

Step 1

Marcelle 3 in 1 Micellar solution has been on my FAVORITE list for a while now. It removes all your make up easily (yep! Personally tried and tested for at least 4 years now) and it leaves your skin feeling refreshed. It’s perfect for sensitive eyes (like mine), you can use it without fear of getting  this burning sensation, most other makeup remover has (even the eye-sensitive ones, I know!).

It’s not surprising that the 3 in 1 Micellar Solution won so many awards on beauty events, magazine’s choices and customer’s appreciation: it’s the #1 product on the market.

You can get your Marcelle products in most Quebec’s drugstores, and online here.

Step 2

Thayers Witch Hazel is a great alcohol free toner. I use it after I remove my make up. I love the fresh sensation it leaves on my face, and the cucumber smell is perfect! I know the original formula uses Rose petal scent, but I really hate this smell, so I went with something else.

This toner is alcohol free, has Vitamin C and Caffeic Acids (to reduce puffiness and irritation) and antioxydants (to diminish clogged pores and help fade dark circles, blemishes and scarring).

After this step, I know my face is really clean. No make up survives to the combo Marcelle + Thayers.

You can buy Thayers item online here.

Step 3

LaNeige – Water sleeping mask is my little luxe here.. I had it in sample size from Sephora and I really liked it. It’s a moisturizing gel that you use as a night cream. The refreshing scent is not too strong, and smells like a de luxe product (not floral at all).

I got this sample in winter, so I was really happy to use it ASAP (winter has such a drying effect on my face every year). I loved it instantly. When I look online at Sephora, I see it has the Allure Beauty Award 2017 stamp, so I’m not the only one who fell for this sleeping mask.

Next time I stop by Sephora, I wanna try the LaNeige Lip Sleeping Mask..

Shop all the LaNeige products at Sephora here.

After all this, it’s sleep time!
