Can you handle the frills?

As long as I can remember, I always loved frill sleeves. It adds a romantic touch to every style.

I ordered this top after I came back from the CurvyCon last year. We had a 50% off coupon at CityChic.com, and I fell in love with in online. The dramatic sleeves are everything! The gingham pattern keep it casual, so you can wear it with a pair of jeans or, like I did, with a skirt. I ordered a size Medium/18 (City Chic has their own version of sizing, using a plus size “Small-Medium-Large-XL”) and when I received it, it fits like a glove.

Styling tips

  1. Let the neckline speaks for itself. No necklace is needed here. Even a small one would be a distraction.
  2. Wear your hair up (if you have long hair). Keep your shoulders naked.
  3. Medium lenght earrings are a must. If you want to wear jewelry, this is exactly what you need.

You don’t need a lot to get attention when you wear this off the shoulder top. All eyes are on you all the time, believe me!

We don’t really see it well, but I wore my brand new Eloquii asymmetric flounce skirt. You can see it better here and pssssst! It’s on sale!
